Wallpaper., an Oakland, California duo, put on a funky/freaky/smooth/krump/fun show for Nicky Digital's "The Deep End" party series, the Official Pool Parties After Parties, at Brooklyn Bowl Sunday night. If you don't know these guys by now, check out their video for "T-Rex"—this shit blew us out of our chairs a few months ago and we can't get enough. One mention of the song and it's in our heads for weeks. "I go BIG on the weeeekeeend, I go T-REX." Pure genius. Their set did not disappoint: they performed their entire album "Doo Doo Face" [cop it here] and it was a freaky dance get down. Ricky laid the smooth moves on us while Arjun kept the beat in his pocket. Check out this live footage to get a taste, and don't miss them next time they're in town!
